Working with a stream along one boundary and tight planning rules, the two storey family home has more of a traditional feel with both it’s materials and it’s form. A three bedroom, 2 bathroom home also has two living areas, one on each level to accommodate the teenagers in the family. The sloping roofs allowed for quirky spaces with a loft over the kitchen for reading, a computer nook and a walk in pantry area. Feature timber beams with sloping ceilings give the upper level a special feel and with the entire house finished to a high degree, the home appeals to all that visit.
