... and after.

The original farm house built in the late 1800’s and was part of the original Morrow family farm. Having been sold out of the family for many decades the Morrows repurchased it and set about making it a functioning family home. It was important to keep the character of the original homestead. In fact, most of the existing house remained with only a renovation done in the 1960’s removed and replaced with a new living, dining and kitchen space. Due to the triple brick walls the main bedroom and formal lounge areas of the house remained, with only some internal alterations to include En suites and updated bathroom and laundry areas. The addition needed to match the original house with window heights, extra thick walls and form, while bringing the house into a modern family living layout.
